Education

Sharing our landscape with the future generation

A working estate is one of the best classrooms in the country. We are passionate about opening ours up to the next generation of farmers, foresters, ecologists, builders and business leaders.

We work with local schools, colleges and charities to share what we do, from soil science to combine harvesters, from listed-building care to wildlife monitoring.

School and nursery visits

We host visits from local nurseries, primary and secondary schools. We aim to give every visitor a real, hands on look at how our business operates and embeds into the community.

Apprenticeships & work experience

We offer placements and apprenticeships across our farming, machinery, property and estate-management teams. If you're a young person interested in a career on the land, or looking for opportunities for someone in your life, get in touch.

Forest Schools and Nature Trails

We love welcoming local forest schools and young explorers! Our nature trails offer children a safe, hands-on opportunity to discover local wildlife, learn about biodiversity, and experience learning outdoors. Whether you are planning a regular forest school session or a one-off visit, we help to nurture a lifelong connection to the natural world

Community engagement

From farm open days to engagement events on major developments like the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, we believe that what happens on our land should be shared with the people who live alongside it.
